Menu: Help in BarcodeShipping

You will find some useful functions in the BCS help menu.

*= New from version 1974 from 13/05/2025.
In older versions there is only the entry Open working directory.

Directories*

Click on one of the specified directories to open the Windows Explorer or the Finder for MacOS.
Installation directory:
Opens the programme installation folder in Explorer/Finder

Working directory:
Opens the .barcodeshipping folder in Explorer/Finder

Configuration directory:
Opens the conf folder directly in the .barcodeshipping folder in the Explorer/Finder

Log directory:
Opens the directory in which the BCS log files are stored directly in the Explorer/Finder

Open mail for troubleshooting

Click on this entry to open your standard mail programme with a preconfigured (new) email.
Our support email address is already included as the recipient address.
You can make your own additions to the existing information in the subject line and in the content of the email and just click on Send.
The email we receive will automatically generate a new ticket and will be processed by our support staff as quickly as possible.

Please note:
Our log file is always helpful for our support in the event of an error message. You can find this via the above-mentioned working directory / log directory in the logs subfolder. Please attach the BarcodeShipping.log file to the e-mail.
